Bnurde works hard to empower young women by giving them the tools they need to succeed. The pictures below show some of our amazing volunteers nurturing and empowering the future generation of young women. Our programs provide girls with life experience tools, self-confidence, and financial skills to set them up for success in life. 

#Hashtag Lunchbag

BNURD’E Inc., Mentoring program volunteered to assist with the #Hashtag Lunch bag Christmas Eve, Feed the Homeless Event hosted by the Long Beach Inglewood Southbay Alumni Chapter - Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc. by decorating 1000 brown lunch bags with words of encouragement, drawings, and well wishes to hold the prepared homemade lunches for our Homeless population. The event was well attended and with the help of all the volunteers 1000 lunches were prepared, bagged, and distributed in the Los Angeles area from Hoover street to DTLA.

Supporting Social Emotional Development During a Pandemic 

Social Emotional Development is key in helping young people understand who they are and where they fit in the world. Many outside programs like BNURDE provide young people with a chance to develop relationships with peers to assist with development relationships outside of their immediate family that help to nurture and develop their unique sense of self identity.
