Roxanne Williams

Roxanne E. Williams is an educator, mentor, and entrepreneur.  She has a wealth of passion for wanting to help and nurture our youth, young adults, and adults achieve their intended dreams and goals.  During the past 25 years she has worked in various entities that involve working with young people from diverse backgrounds and giving back to the community. 

She has held several leadership positions: Site Coordinator and Selection Committee Officer for the California Early Childhood Mentor Program for the State of California, Program Coordinator for Gang Reduction Youth Development Summer Night Lights Program under Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Mayor Eric Garcetti, Program Coordinator for GAIN CalWORKS at Los Angeles Southwest College and Chair Wilder’s Preparatory Academy Charter School annual Harvest Festival Fundraiser.

Throughout her career she has worked for several programs and in each of these roles, she has demonstrated and articulated a strong work ethic and has received rewards and high praises for her effectiveness in the planning, administration and implementation of these programs.  Roxanne has the ability to listen with understanding. Her caring attitude and her desire to promote positive human relationships at all times has adequately prepared her to conquer her dreams and aspirations. She continues to set high standards and expectations for herself and others and encourages them to strive for excellence.

Ms. Williams’ education includes a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Students with an emphasis in Human Development from California State University Long Beach, Master of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Administration from Nova Southeastern University. She holds a Clear Credentials in Career Technical Education (CTE) K-12: Education, Family Services, and Child Development and a Clear Credential in Adult Education (AE). She is also a Soror of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
