A 10 month program designed to develop social skills, problem solving strategies, conflict resolution techniques, and developing leadership skills.
It's never too early to learn how to find your inner truths. This workshop is designed to discuss, engage and explore healthy relationships through understanding "all about me", an interactive activity designed to introduce the stage of identity vs. role confusion as our girls and young women discover their true self.
Oftentimes girls are challenged with expressing their feelings, acknowledging their mistakes, and establishing a strong foundation for healthy relationships. In this workshop, we will practice skills that will build and strengthen your authentic voice.
Like any pursuit – soccer, dance, or writing poetry, developing social-emotional relationships and learning authentic self-expression takes practice. Through fun and interactive activities and discussions, girls and young women will learn and practice how to explore, share and communicate their feelings authentically and make healthy relationship choices.
On average, girls and young women between 11 to 21 years old tend to experience significant shifts in their self-confidence and increasing social pressures to conform. It is this transitional age where their voices tend to become silenced. This workshop will provide our girls and young women the opportunity to practice using skills of assertive self-expression through activities, discussion, and scenarios designed to explore the importance of recognizing healthy and productive conflict resolution strategies.
This workshop will consist of a panel discussions designed to focus on innovative activities that promote positive self-esteem.

Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble. Considering the 'powerful force' of the words we utter, we must discipline ourselves to speak in a way that conveys respect, gentleness and humility.
